Technical Skills
1) Machine Operation & Setup : - Ability to safely clamp thermoplastic sheets, position molds, and operate vacuum pumps/compressors.
2) Temperature & Timing Control :- Skill in adjusting heating elements, ovens, and cooling cycles based on material type and thickness.
3) Mold Preparation :- Capability to prep, clean, and install molds while applying release agents.
4) Material Handling :- Knowledge of different plastics (e.g., ABS, acrylic, PETG, polycarbonate) and their heating behaviors.
5) Trimming & Finishing -: Ability to use tools like routers, shears, or lasers to trim excess "web" plastic from the final par.
Quality Control & Troubleshooting
1) Drawing Reading :- Basic understanding of CAD/CAM and technical drawings to ensure parts match specifications.
2) Inspection & Testing :- Skill in using calipers, gauges, and micrometers to measure wall thickness and part dimensions.
3) Defect Recognition :- Ability to spot defects like webbing, webbing, tearing, or thinning, and adjust machine settings accordingly.
4) Problem-Solving :- Quick thinking to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and optimize production processes.
Note :- prefer hands-on manufacturing experience or a background in vacuum forming or plastic processing.
